This trip took place from 2 up to and including 9 march 2007. Participants were 23 students and 2 accompanying teachers, all committed to the faculty of Civil Engineering of the University of Technology in Delft, the Netherlands. In Moscow we visited several high-rise building projects which were part of the Moscow International Business Centre. This is a Manhattan type of business district which has to compete with the other world leading business districts. The projects we visited were all in a different stage of construction; from fully furnished to foundation works. The study trip program further consisted of a visit to the Moscow Architectural Institute, a visit to the Dutch Embassy and two company presentations; Arup and Royal Haskoning.
A big thanks goes out to everybody who made this trip possible. In particular all the sponsors and the accompanying teachers Prof. ir. L.A.G. Wagemans and Ir. G.J. Dijk. Without their inspiring ideas and
interaction with the students the trip would not have been the same.
